“Flowers Don’t Ask To Be Picked” is a mixed media installation that draws parallels to the infinite qualities of the internet with the endless imagination of what heaven could look like. Through scouring the internet for images connected to his late father, missing pieces of memories lost with metaphoric found images and self portraiture fill in the holes of the definitive information. The digital paintings and videos incorporated into the sculptures embrace glitches and pixilation to expose the limitations of the media. The installation is as a non-functional time machine.
